Suggested Course Scheduling Sequence*
(from the 2005-06 COE Information Bulletin)
* While all courses listed must be taken to qualify for the specific degree, schedule rearrangements are certainly possible. The primary consideration is successful completion of prerequisites. For example, chemistry may be taken in the freshman rather than the sophomore year, provided all prerequisites are met. Also, see the Course Numbering System page for additional information.
1 To graduate with a degree in Engineering, the student must satisfy the General Degree Requirements of the University.
2 Students who are exceptionally strong in math may wish to take the two-semester sequence of MATH 2111 (5 cr) and 2112 (5 cr) in place of the three-semester sequence of MATH 2107 (3 cr), 2108 (3 cr), and 2109 (4 cr).
3 Electives must be selected from offered 4000 level ENCE courses and must be approved by department.
NOTE: The civil engineering curriculum is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). |
