13th Annual Engineering Recognition Awards Ceremony Held

Jan 29, 2009 — M S Benbow and Associates has earned the John Noll Crisp Award for Technical Excellence in recognition of development and implementation of the project Region One Interoperable Communications System in the New Orleans metro area.
The award was presented at the College of Engineering's 13th Annual Engineering Awards Ceremony held on Thursday, January 29 in the Homer L. Hitt Alumni & Visitors Center. The annual event recognizes significant contributions to the engineering industry and to the higher education community. Honorees are selected by the College of Engineering's Advisory Council.
Organizations and individuals who collaborated on the innovative project were presented with Certificates of Merit. At the ceremony, additional awards were presented to alumnus and faculty for service and leadership in the field of engineering and for service to the College of Engineering.
