The UNO College of Engineering is located in a state-of-the-art, nine-story building with specialized facilities for each department.
Civil and Environmental Engineering Department

- A structures laboratory with a load frame and 20-ton gantry crane to support large-scale testing
- An instrumented geotechnical laboratory automated for physical and engineering testing of soil materials
- Fully-equipped construction and mechanics of materials testing facilities
- An environmental laboratory equipped for air and water quality testing, pilot facilities, and laboratory and field resources recovery training research facilities
- A hydraulic and water resources laboratory with a tilting flume for large-scale hydraulic modeling
- A topographic engineering lab, fully equipped with complete production mapping equipment including print transfer, photo triangulation and stereo compilation equipment for all current forms of digital mapping products to support engineering designs
